This tender refers to the provision, installation and maintenance of micro wind turbines in locations across Northumberland where conditions are suitable for successfully generating electricity. Northumberland has great potential for micro generation from wind turbines suited to single use buildings and already has a wide range of farm and community buildings with such technology. The contract will be for 24 months with the option to extend 2 x 12 months.
