Provision of Subsidised Local Bus Services.

Kent County Council is to introduce a new procurement process for the procurement of council subsidised local bus routes (i.e. scheduled public buses, separate from statutory school transport services which will not form part of this Framework). The Council will introduce a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) framework to cover a four year period commencing October 2011. This new contract will be the Council's primary route for sourcing socially necessary local bus services. Parties interested in joining this framework should send an expression of interest to psg@kent.gov.uk. The Council will be issuing a briefing pack and be available to offer advice regarding the Framework application and on-going tendering processes in due course.
