Future Procurement Strategy for support to RAF Command Support Aircraft.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is in the process of evaluating its procurement and support strategy for the operation of its Command Support Air Transport Aircraft, which comprises four (4) BAe 146 aircraft (2 x CCMk2, 2 x CMk3). As part of this evaluation MoD will be engaging with other BAe 146 operators, suppliers and sub-contractors within the Supply Chain and other subject matter experts in order to better inform its procurement strategy for enhanced future support from 1.4.2017. The purpose of this Prior Indicative Notice is to notify external parties of the intention of the MoD to examine its procurement strategy and to encourage organisations wishing to support this exercise to register via email to the Contract Authority identified at Section I. This Prior Indicative Notice is not a means to submit a formal expression of interest in respect of any potential tender. Any resultant requirement will be subject to the EU Public Procurement Regulations and respective advertising action.
