Baltic Connector Oy and Elering AS are planning to construct the Balticconnector pipeline, a bi-directional natural gas pipeline to connect Finland and Estonia. The scope of the contract includes management, engineering, construction of seabed intervention and offshore pipeline construction works and pre-commissioning: This is a joint procurement of Baltic Connector Oy and Elering AS. Baltic Connector Oy is the contracting authority responsible for carrying out the procurement procedure. Baltic Connector Oy and Elering AS have signed a co-operation agreement on joint procurement of the works covered by this procurement procedure. According to the agreement Baltic Connector Oy will be responsible for scheduling, design and overall management of the procurement procedure. However, the works shall be provided to both Baltic Connector Oy and Elering AS.
