Tender for the Provision of Southampton City Council (SCC) Intelligent Transport Systems and Crime Prevention CCTV Transformation Project.

A 10 year contract with a potential to extend for up to a further 5 year period for a provider to deliver the Council's Intelligent Transport Systems (e.g. Traffic signals, traffic cameras, traffic signs) currently delivered by the Council's 'ROMANSE' service and to deliver the Council's Community Safety CCTV service. This includes, but is not limited to, the: — relocation of existing services from town quay (romanse) and st mary's (cctv) to the new city depot or other locations as appropriate, — build and fit-out of a new control room and supporting office services at the site, — maintenance and operation of its and cctv systems against the delivery of agreed efficiency targets. The contract will also include provision for service related capital works, which is reflected in the value range and other Council communication service provision. The option of additional services will be discussed during the dialogue phase covering the Council's Community Alarm, Concierge, Out of Hours services (all Housing Support Services). This contract is being let on behalf of SCC (and their statutory successors and organisations created as a result of re-organisation or organisational changes).
