Traveline Scotland is a partnership between Transport Operators, Local Authorities and Transport Scotland who contribute funds, information and expertise towards day to day running. The aim of Traveline is to provide up to date, accurate, impartial and easily understandable information on all public transport services within Scotland and from scotland to major destinations in other parts of the UK. Traveline Scotland intends awarding a contract for the provision of a data management system that will deliver a Scottish Public Transport Information System. The successfully appointed contractor shall be responsible on an ongoing basis for collecting, modifying, processing, performing data quality checks and in some cases creating/inputting the operational data to support the Traveline Scotland System. The functionality requirements of the Data Management Systems Include: Internet based information Systems - for call centre, web site and mobile devices. Data management and processing. Data hub (API). Third party Services. Incident Management System and Content management systems.
