Software and licence for back-office ALPR.

The Swedish Transport Agency has recently developed a national system for road charging back office. The system is capable of processing in excess of 2.5 million transactions per day consisting of in excess of 6 million images per day. An ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) software solution for use in back office will be procured that forms the heart of this processing system. The road charging back office fetches packages containing transactions with data and related images from data service centers on Roadside. The number of images in a transaction can be one or more of the front and/or rear license plate of a passing vehicle.
