The work included in this competition is for a framework agreement for constructional maintenance assignments and minor projects at the Norwegian parliament. The extent of the work that Stortingets administrasjon would like carried out within the framework agreement will vary in the contract period. The estimated volume of the framework agreement for maintenance assignments is approx. 5 000 000 NOK excluding VAT per annum and minor projects could in addition make up approx. 5 000 000 – 10 000 000 NOK excluding VAT in the contract period, i.e. a total of 40 000 000 – 60 000 000 NOK excluding VAT in the contract period. The estimates are not binding for the awarding authority, as the amount of such services can vary from year to year. There is greater uncertainty as to whether the minor projects will be carried out in the contract period. Work will normally be carried out throughout the year, adapted to the activities at the Norwegian parliament. Major maintenance works, as well as minor projects, will usually be carried out when the Norwegian parliament has its holiday, i.e. summer, Christmas and Easter holidays. Most of the activities will be done in the summer holiday, usually between weeks 25 and 38. The contractor must have the capacity to carry out works in these periods. The framework agreements are for 2 – two years from when the contract is signed. The framework agreement can be extended for one – 1 - year + one – 1 – year, i.e. a maximum of up to four years. The awarding authority is free to carry out major assignments and special projects outside the framework agreement during the contract period. The awarding authority will decide which assignments/deliveries shall be carried out within the framework agreement and which shall be carried out after a public procurement procedure.
