Residential homes construction work. Wandsworth Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from specialist new build suppliers who wish to be considered for selection to tender for a Design and Build project at three Council Housing Sites in Battersea, London, SW8. The supplier will be asked to submit a tender based on an Employer's Requirements Document for works under a Design and Build Contract to build one block of 22 new units, one block of 20 new units and one block of 15 new units at an estimated total value of 11 000 000 GBP. Planning Approval documents can be viewed on the Council's website under application numbers 2014/6447, 2014/4515 and 2014/4516. Works will include foundations, external and internal walls, roofs, mechanical and electrical services, energy conservation measures, kitchen and bathroom fit outs, all internal decorations, and all associated works to provide affordable rental accommodation. It is anticipated that tenders will be sought at the beginning of September 2015 with an anticipated start on site in May 2016.
