Training and simulation in security equipment. Specialist training services. Training services in defence and security materials. The UK Government through the Department for Transport (DfT) operates an assist programme to help countries improve their aviation security. The DfT are inviting proposals from DfT certified aviation security training organisations and their trainers, or organisations and their trainers in the process of being certified, to plan, deliver and evaluate a variety of aviation security training courses. The initial estimate is for the delivery of around 45 training courses of about 6 different types in the 2 year period of the contract, at overseas locations.
