Provision of Pharmacy Services.

North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust seeks innovative solutions to provide an enhanced Pharmacy Outpatients Service within a Managed Service Contract with one service provider. The solutions offered should demonstrate a flexible approach to the delivery of pharmacy and health related services to patients and a willingness to develop additional services which may include home delivery services, on-site retail services or other solutions to meet the needs of patients. Whilst the principal activity during the life of the contract will be the dispensing of Outpatients Pharmacy & Emergency Department (ED) prescriptions, the service may in future include additional services such as home delivery services. An opportunity to develop on-site retail services also exists. Dispensing must be compliant with statutory and professional requirements of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and General Pharmaceutical Council and all staff must be fully trained to undertake their roles and work within formalised standard operating procedures.
