Gas Networks Ireland requires parties to engage in a framework for the provision of an inline inspection service using the principle of Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) of their gas transmission pipeline system to carry out internal inspection of selected pipelines to determine any internal or external metal loss, pipeline damage, defects, etc. It will include all activities associated with pre-inspection, inspection and post inspection. It will include all logistics, pre-cleaning activities, provision for pollution, recording of data, analysis of data and presentation of results. It may or may not also include temporary inline filtration. As per the PQQ document.
