Bosnia and Herzegovina applied loan agreements with European Investment Bank (hereinafter EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (hereinafter EBRD) to finance priority sections of motorway on the route of Pan European Corridor Vc through Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will use these loans for payments of the works and consulting services to be procured under this project of construction of priority sections which includes section Svilaj - Odžak. Construction of motorway on Corridor Vc, section Svilaj - Odžak in total length of 10,43 km, will be constructed with a contract: — Contract No 1. JPAC 327-B45-12: Section Svilaj – Odžak in total length of 10+430,45km will be financed by the loan signed with European Investment Bank (EIB) Public company "Autoceste Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine d.o.o. Mostar (Autoceste FBiH)" on behalf of the Government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter: Employer) intends to apply the proceeds of the loans from EIB [the Bank] towards the cost of Construction of motorway on Corridor Vc, section Svilaj - Odžak (hereinafter the Project). The Employer intends to pre-qualify firms and joint ventures to tender for the contract to be funded from the proceeds of the loans. This contract consists of the construction of motorway between Svilaj and Odžak which will start after ending bridge across river Sava (at border crossing with Croatia) and finish at Interchange "Odžak". Section starts from chainage 0+328,050km and goes to the border crossing "Svilaj" on chainage 0+700km-1+300km. Border crossing include only works for first stage without structures. Route continues from chainage 1+300km and finish at chainage 10+762,50km near of the Odžak. On this section there is one border crossing (without structures), two Interchanges, two toll stations, one rest area and two bridges. Along the section, local roads with 3 overpasses, 5 underpasses and 3 underpasses for wild animals will be constructed. Construction period is 14 months. Prequalification and tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the loans from the Banks is open to firms and joint ventures from any country. If requested, the documents will be promptly dispatched by courier, but no liability can be accepted for loss or late delivery.
