Detection apparatus for mines. Manoeuvre Support Team [MST], part of the Ministry of Defence, intends to place a future contract with MineWolf Systems AG for an initial 12 month period with the options to extend for another 24 month period for the provision of In-Service Support for the Mini MineWolf 240 system. It is considered that this contract can be placed with MineWolf Systems AG using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice pursuant to Article 28(1)(e) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011). This is because MineWolf Systems AG is the Design Authority for the Mini MineWolf 240 system for which post design services and repairs are required. They hold exclusive rights for the purpose of redesign and modification. No licences have been granted to any party, including the MoD, to obtain the drawings, specifications and/or other intellectual property necessary to carry out the services.
