UCL currently uses SAP Business Objects 3.1 for its business intelligence information. UCL will be seeking a provider to support and maintain this product in the BOXI 3.1 environment for the next 3 years. It is envisaged that this will include a number of days to make support calls, on-site support and yearly health checks. The preferred model is likely to be a call off agreement based on number of days purchased at the start of the contract, where the rates include telephone support, remote support and on occasion if required on site support. The level of support required should include platform, application, advice on design and universes as well as occasional advice on complex reporting.
