Gaining access to quality information, advice and support can be a challenge for parents, children and young people who may not be familiar with the law or the statutory guidance. North East Lincolnshire Council is commissioning a provider to fulfil the Local authority’s duties to provide a North East Lincolnshire Special educational needs and disability independent advice and support service (SENDIASS) as required by the Special educational needs and disability (SEND) Code of Practice 0-25 years. The new provider will provide quality information, advice and support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs or parents of children with SEN.
