The Government of Seychelles has received funding from the European Investment Bank (EIB), the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the European Development Fund and the African Water Facility towards the cost of the Seychelles Water and Sanitation Project. The Project is implemented by the Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) of Seychelles as the Promoter, Procuring Entity and Contracting Authority. The contract refers to supervision of construction works for the new La Digue wastewater system, concerning the new La Digue WWTP (average flow of 1 000 m 3 /d) and the new La Digue Sewerage Network (estimated 18 km of sewers, 520 manholes and 20 lift/pump stations). The contract also refers to supervision of upgrading works of the existing Greater Victoria wastewater system on Mahé, concerning the existing Providence WWTP (average flow of 7 000 m 3 /d) and the existing Greater Victoria sewerage network (2 existing pump stations, 4 new pump stations and new DN600 force main of 2.4 km length.
