Offshore oil booms.

The Swedish Coast Guard has 3 200 meters of offshore oil booms stored in environmental protection storages. Booms are packed on specially designed reels and each reel contains 200 meters of boom. Every reel can be placed on Swedish Coast Guards vessels for use and transportation. The current booms have reached end of life and needs to be replaced. The goal of this procurement is to sign a 4 year contract, with the possibility to extend the contract with a further 2 years, with 1 supplier regarding delivery of offshore oil boom systems, air delivery system, power pack (option), spare parts, etc. according to the specifications within the tender documents. The quantity of boom that will be purchased is depending on available funds but an estimated amount is about 4 000 meters during the term of the contract.
