Fosen Renovation IKS (hereafter referred to as the contracting authority) is seeking tenders for the following services: — Receipt and treatment of approx. 1 700 tons dewatered sludge annually from Ørland, Bjugn, Åfjord, Rissa, Leksvik, Verran and Roan municipalities. The sludge sources (from households) are interceptors for sludge and blocked tanks in all 7 municipalities, as well as sludge from treatment facilities (filtering facilities) in 4 of these municipalities. This makes up most of the sludge. There are also interceptors for sludge from companies who have interceptors for sludge. The assignment also includes interceptors for sludge from some companies such as vehicle garages and the shipping industry and fishing industry. These will be tanks for sewage that are equivalent to normal households with a kitchen, toilet and bathroom, but there are no guarantees that there will not be exceptions. The sludge will mainly be in quality class I and quality class II, but the contracting authority cannot guarantee that there will not be sludge in quality class III. The contract therefore includes the receipt and treatment of sludge in all quality classes described in the ‘Regulations on manure products etc. of organic origin’. If sludge in quality class III is found, the contracting authority will implement measures to limit the pollution of this sludge.
