Development of methods for measuring radioactivity in waste from the oil and gas industry.

The Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority requests tenders for testing of various types of existing measuring instruments/measuring equipment as well as development and description of measuring methods in connection with use of measuring instruments/detectors. The equipment subject to tests are used in connection with measuring of radioactivity in waste from the oil and gas sector as described in the annex to this tender notice, named "Invitation to tender, etc". The assignments will probably involve several meetings in the Awarding Authority’s premises, regardless of testing of methods on off-shore/on-shore installations, laboratory work in laboratory owned/provided by the service provider. The contract will also include i.a. reports with complete technical descriptions, method recommendations and user instructions. Deadline for delivery of final report subsequent to executed testing, etc. is 15.12.2012.
