In 2007 Twence has started up a biomass electricity plant (BEC). This plant is mainly proficient on B-wood and produces electricity.The BEC 2.0 project means that the BEC steam turbine has to produce heat and electricity. The current steam turbine does not have a big controlled extraction, therefore Twence has decided to buy a new one and to place it in a new (to build) turbine building. Headlines scope of supply Turbine; condensate type, incl gearbox and generator (with the existing ACC)Apr. 20-25 MWeMax controlled extraction at 3.7- 4.9 bara; this will be a important load point2 extra bleeds (22 and 1 bara)Live steam, 67 bara and approximately 430-465 CAll necessary equipment ( approximately oil system, control system, safety and monitoring system, drains, e.a.)Also engineering foundation, turbine bypass, information needed for the new building and al necessary things to run the new turbine wellMaintenance of the new turbine (not clear yet)Fire-fighting of the new turbineset itself (not yet clear)Conditioning old turbine Not part of supply; Live steam piping; battery limit Quick closing ValveSteam piping (extraction and bleeds) to existing pipingBuildingBoiler aspects A good reliability is important at the defined load points with max efficiency and max heat output (controlled extraction).
