Translink Operate a fleet of 1500 buses, 150 railway vehicles at over 50 sites across Northern Ireland. Translink require a supplier who will provide products that will contain and absorb oil minor spills at all Translink sites. Any products or systems offered must meet the latest environmental standards for removing any oil spills and disposing / recycling of the products used along with technical and training support. As part of the conditions of Tender Tenderers must provide, either directly or through its supply chain, a minimum of 3 Person Weeks of work experience or employment opportunities for an Unemployed Person(s), per 12-month contract period, to be arranged through an appropriate Northern Ireland Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) [or jurisdictional equivalent] supported programme. The Translink Group is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers.
