Home Oxygen Service - South East Coast of England.

This service specification sets out the services the supplier shall carry out, and includes (but is not limited to) the following services which the supplier shall undertake: -. To receive and process HOOFs and contact Patients to arrange delivery; Supply and install the equipment as directed by the HOOF; Supply the equipment and provide training and evaluation of training for the HOS AR (where applicable); Provide a 24 hour a day customer contact centre; Train the patient and/or the Carers and ensure that such training is effective; Provide a user manual; Obtain a signed patient declaration; Re supply and re stock oxygen supplies, equipment and consumables as directed by the HCP and/or HOOF as appropriate; Provide secondary supply arrangements; Deal with the reimbursement of electricity costs for patients; Provide reports to the PCTs to enable Service management; Assess and monitor the supplier's own performance; Service and maintain the equipment; Produce databases and reports which will include information on those patients who have been assessed by HOS-AR Services.
