The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) has requested the participation of the European Development Partners (EIB, European Union, AFD, and KfW) - hereinafter referred to as EDPs - to finance the Telecommunication Systems Contract for New 6 th October 500/220 kV GIS Substation. 2. The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), hereinafter called “Owner” invites sealed Tenders from International Tenderers for engineering, designing, manufacturing, factory testing, site delivery, erection, testing at site, commissioning, putting in operation, training, insurance till provisional acceptance, warranty and technical assistance during warranty period of the telecommunication system as specified to connect New 6 th October 500/220kV GIS S/S to NECC and Cairo Regional Control Center (CRCC) telecommunication and SCADA networks. The scope includes also all telecommunication system required at remote ends. 3. The completion period (10) months from the date of contract signature. 4. Tenderers may obtain further information from, inspect and acquire the Tender Document, at the office of EETC, at: EGYPTIAN ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION COMPANY, ABBASSIA, CAIRO, EGYPT, ATTENTION: HEAD OF PURCHASING AND STORES SECTOR/,Tel & Fax: + (202)22616537 5. A complete set of Tendering Document may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application in one original and two copies, accompanied by payment receipt of US$ 2,000 (only the amount of two thousands US Dollars) from National Bank of Egypt-Nasr City Branch - Cairo, Egypt. (Account No. 1043060260875900037). 6. All Tenders must be submitted in two envelopes (A & B) clearly marked “Telecommunication Systems for New 6th October 500/220kV GIS Substation - Package (C)” and be accompanied by Tender security (US$ 15000 in the form of Tender security), and must be delivered by hand to: EGYPTIAN ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION COMPANY , ABBASSIA, CAIRO , EGYPT, ATTENTION: HEAD OF PURCHASING AND STORES SECTOR On or before 9 th of August, 2017 at 12:00 noon Cairo local time. Envelope (A) of Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of those Tenderers' representatives who choose to attend. Envelope (B) of Tenders will be opened for the technically accepted Tenders on date will be announced later. 7. Tenders will be valid for (180) days started from the opening date of the technical envelope. 8. Envelope (A) & Envelope (B) must be submitted simultaneously at the same time.
