In the 2021 state budget, the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation allocated NOK 256 000 000 for the development of broadband in areas where it is not commercially profitable to establish broadband. The financial frame for Vestfold and Telemark is NOK 23 200 000. Approx. NOK 8 500 000 of the resources awarded in 2021 are for projects from 2020. In the final contest, the requested minimum speed of the developed network will be 100 Mbits/s. The municipalities have applied for support for the development of the broadband network in the following areas: See the attached information.
