Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Permitting Support Services for the Offshore Sections of the EastMed Pipeline Project (EastMed)

Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for environmental permitting and implementation of activities to obtain Authorization and Permits for the installation of the following EastMed offshore sections: — from SE Peloponnese till Atherinolakkos area (SE Crete), — from Atherinolakkos till Vassiliko (Cyprus), — from Vassiliko till the Eastern Mediterranean gas source. Indicative pipeline diameter: 26”-28” (subject to assessment and confirmation). Onshore Compressor Station (CS) (Vassiliko) and the 2 small onshore pipeline sections in Cyprus from landfalls till the CS (Vassiliko) are included. Separate ESIA Studies to be prepared for each country (Greece, Cyprus and Israel) and be based on the national legislations, EU Regulations (for Greece and Cyprus) and EBRD requirements, taking into consideration Project’s FEED technical data. Services include support to the project owner till the issuance of environmental terms approval by the Authorities in the relevant countries.
