The contract is for the replacement of existing laundry equipment, as part of a replacement program to be completed by 31st March 2015. This will involve the removal of existing equipment and the supply, installation and commissioning of new equipment. The projected volume for each year will be circa 45 units. There will also be a 4 year contract with possible 12 month extension option for the inclusive warranty and annual maintenance service of the existing equipment located within the 125 Council managed laundrettes and 11 sheltered housing complexes. As part of this contract there shall be a requirement to supply and fix a name plates on both new and existing laundry equipment. This Contract advertised as a Supplies Contract however it should be noted that lot 2: the provision of maintenance services is to be let as a Services Contract.
