UAL Resource Management System.

System management software development services. The University of the Arts London have awarded contract for the provision of a Web based Resource Management Solution (RMS). The RMS will provide a central point of access, creating an environment where resources can be loaned and managed securely and efficiently by students and staff throughout the University. The RMS will host targeted contents and use the University's Identity Management System to integrate with a number of systems (e.g. Aggresso QL, Voyager etc). The introduction of a Resource Management Solution is intended to support the University in becoming an integrated and collaborative community, as experienced by students, staff and the outside world. The benefits of deploying an RMS will include but not limited to the following: 1. Streamlined resource management. 2. Live audit trail of all assets. 3. Paperless system. 4. Management information. 5. Inter-site resource allocation. 6. Record asset usage induction and limit usage accordingly. The appointed provider will enable the delivery of the following requirements: 1. RMS Software. 2. HE/FE Integration knowledge and experience. 3. Consultancy and advice on best practice to successfully deploy the solution. 4. Post implementation Service Level Agreement.
