Archive destruction services. Paper collecting services. Refuse and waste related services. Refuse recycling services. ESPO, on behalf of the Pro5 group of professional buying organisations, is seeking to establish a framework agreement with a number of suppliers for the provision of shredding and secure disposal services (confidential materials) specifically for use by public bodies throughout the UK. Whilst the shredding and disposal of documents will be the primary requirement, other confidential product/material e.g. magnetic media, uniforms, will be considered. An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the framework agreement. Whilst initially for use by local authorities served by the Pro5 Group (see http://www.espo.org/about-us/collaborative-procurement.aspx), being Central Purchasing Bodies as defined by the EU Combined Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC, the Framework Agreement may also be open for use by the following classifications of user throughout all administrative regions of the UK: Local Authority Councils; Educational Establishments (including academies); central government departments and their agencies; police, fire & rescue and coastguard emergency services; NHS and HSC bodies, including ambulance services; registered charities; registered social landlords.
