The University of Leicester has a number of research groups (located in the Henry Wellcome Laboratories of Structural Biology - HWLSB) whose research uses NMR spectroscopy as a tool to understand the structure / functional relationships of biological macromolecules. HWLSB currently has four NMR spectrometers operating at 500, 600 (x2) and 800 MHz 1H resonance frequencies. One of the 600 MHz spectrometers is to be updated with a new console and cryogenically cooled probe head. Tenders are invited for the supply of such equipment that complies or surpasses with the specifications in the Invitation to Tender document.
