Domestic Violence and Abuse – Prevention and Support.

Herefordshire council are currently developing service specifications for a Domestic Violence and Abuse Support service contract. It is envisaged that this will include accommodation based provision and support and support to victims of domestic violence and abuse to enable them to live safe, healthy and independent lives. Potential providers will need to look at how they will deliver a quality cost effective service which seeks to target support and reduce demand by working with service users and in partnership to not only support service users but also look at how in partnership domestic violence and abuse is prevented in the first instance.
