Framework agreement for the service and maintenance of lifts

The contracting authority owns a substantial amount of buildings in the Parliament quarter as well commuter residences for representatives. The lifts are of varying ages and types/brands and are currently covered by guarantees and service contracts with different expiry dates. The contracting authority intends to enter into a service and maintenance contract that ensures fulfilment of statutory inspection and maintenance requirements in order to maintain certification from the Lift Inspectorate. The procurement covers the lifts in the Parliament's office building as well as those in official residences owned by the contracting authority. There are currently 33 lifts. The contract shall cover periodic inspections with checks and preventive maintenance of varying degrees. There are usually 6-8 inspections per annum. Major planned maintenance assignments are also covered in the contract. Furthermore, the contract includes corrective and non-planned maintenance on a summoned basis when needed.
