Broadband Development in Sør-Varanger Municipality (New Notice)

On behalf of: 2030 Sør-Varanger Municipality We invite tenderers to an open tender contest for broadband development in Sør-Varanger Municipality. Finnut Consult AS is assisting the administration of the tender competition. There are currently approx. 10 200 inhabitants in Sør-Varanger Municipality, of which approx. 1 100 inhabitants, public entities and business actors located in the districts do not have access to future orientated, high-speed broadband. So that inhabitants and businesses in the municipality have equal opportunities to access a high speed network, Sør-Varanger Municipality will contribute to the start-up of the development of high-speed broadband in the districts. The municipal council has granted resources for the development in accordance with the decision in the 2018 budget and the finance plan 2018-2021 for 'fibre to the district'.
