(iv) (highly desirable) a 225 kV source. (v) (desirable) a number of target options (i.e. reflection and transmission targets). (vi) (essential) a flat panel detector. (vii) (essential) acquisition PC plus an additional high-end analysis PC (viii) (essential) coordinate metrology software. (ix) (essential) financial commitment to support at least one research student (at PhD level) to start in the next year. (x) (highly desirable) a willingness to collaborate on research projects to improve the metrological performance of the instrument. (xi) (highly desirable) maintenance contract to run for three years and to include: 2 preventative maintenance visits per year, 2 day response for all technical issues, all spare parts supplied at no cost, upgrades to latest versions of all software. (xii) (essential) at least 3 days training in the use of the instrument and analysis software.
