Lviv Communal Enterprise “Zelene Misto”, hereinafter referred to as “the Client”, intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD” or “the Bank”), a loan from the Clean Technology Fund (“CTF”) and a grant from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environmental Partnership (“E5P”), administered by the Bank, towards the cost of the Lviv Solid Waste Project. The Client intends prequalifying firms and consortia to tender for the following contract(s), hereinafter referred to as “the Contract”, to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loans and the grant: — Construction of the Municipal Solid Waste Mechanical and Biological Treatment Facilities (Phase 1) in Lviv, Ukraine. The contract scope includes design, execution, completion, testing, pre-commissioning, development of process procedures, meeting guaranteed level of functional guarantees, operation and maintenance during the trial operation period, and remedying defects during the Defect Notification Period. The time for completion of the facilities is 24 months, the trial operation period is 12 months and the Defect Notification Period is 12 months. Pre-qualification and tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of EBRD and CTF loans and E5P grant is open to firms and joint ventures of firms from any country. Prequalification documents will be provided electronically free of charge upon request to the e-mail address given below (in PDF format, as well as in Word format.
