East Renfrewshire Council is looking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor for the support and maintenance of the existing Public Space CCTV system and the Migration to an IP CCTV Delivery and Recording (IPDR) system. Tenderers should note that the tender document is split into lots 1 and 2 for evaluation purposes but that award will be made to a main contractor. — Lot 1: support, maintenance and repair of existing and new public space CCTV cameras as specified during the period of the contract. This Lot will be awarded as a framework agreement with no guaranteed level of business. It is anticipated that the start date for this framework agreement will be December 2011 or the Council may confirm such other date as in an official letter of acceptance. The agreement will run for a period of 36 months with one further 12 month extension period available at the discretion of the Council and to be dependant on a continued requirement and contract performance, — Lot 2: supply and installation of an IP CCTV Delivery and Recording (IPDR) system. This lot will be awarded as a contract with a guaranteed budget of 210 000 GBP. It is anticipated that the start date for this contract will be December 2011 and will terminate no later than 31.3.2012.
