Soft Market Test: Potential Service Delivery Models for Highways & Engineering Dept. and other Services.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council (The Council) is undertaking a Market Sounding to identify potential delivery models which have had proven success for the Highways and Engineering section of Visible Services as part of a wide ranging review. Visible Services is part of the Visible and Housing Services directorate. In addition to Highways and Engineering, Visible Services also include: Fleet Management Parks and Ground Maintenance Waste Management and Cleansing This market testing will primarily focus on Highways and Engineering in order to realise its savings target whilst delivering the most effective service possible. However the Council is open to discussions regarding any potential that organisations might perceive by including other services. It should be noted that this market sounding exercise is not part of a formal procurement and the Council does not guarantee to undertake a procurement process as a result of its deliberations.
