Path Links is an integrated NHS pathology service provider operating within Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust with comprehensive laboratory facilities located at Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Lincoln, Boston, and Grantham hospital sites. The existing managed service contracts covering the provision of both Haematology Blood Cell Counting Systems and Chemistry, Immunoassay Systems are due for renewal and Path Links is now seeking to appoint a single contractor to provide a compliant Managed Service Agreement covering the provision of both analytical services for an initial period of ten years from 2014 with options to extend for up to a further 2 additional years. Tenders are invited from suppliers that are financially, organisationally and technically capable of providing both of these services. For potential suppliers that are unable to offer both types of analyser systems from within their existing product portfolio, it is anticipated that they will need to enter into sub-contract arrangements with suitably capable and experienced suppliers under a single unified managed service arrangement.
