Translink, comprising of Northern Ireland Railways, Metro and Ulsterbus is the all-embracing title for the integrated public transport operations in Northern Ireland. Translink is looking to engage with the marketplace to assess the opportunity, and to better understand the appetite, for revenue generation on our free-to-customer Wi-Fi that is provided across a significant part of our fleet — c200 rail carriages. including the cross-border Enterprise service. and c170 vehicles: Goldline; Cross-Channel; Airport Express and Belfast Rapid Transit; current usage is c. 350 000 sessions per month. It is the intention of Translink to invite suitably interested Economic Operators to present during August and September 2017.
