The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) is a 5-star conference centre owned by the City of Edinburgh Council. The EICC requires the supply of a range of furniture. The EICC is of a very high standard for visitors to the City. It is in competition with over 400 worldwide Conference facilities and sets a 5 star quality experience for guests; this is seen as key to the continued success of EICC. This high quality venue is now nearing the opening of an extension and its furniture is seen as a key differentiator to ensure continued success in convincing customers to hold their events at the new larger venue. Many of the furnishings have survived the test of time, with only one refurbishment since the opening in 1995 and the preference of the stakeholders and designer is to repeat this formula. There is a clear requirement to provide high quality products to match in with existing furniture and to meet with the 5-star status of the building. The requirement is for Conference & Banqueting Chairs, Conference & Banqueting Tables and Cafe Furniture.
