2.1 Sellafield Ltd wishes to procure a number of Radiation Shielding Doors. The supply of these Shield Doors to time, cost and quality will enable Sellafield Ltd's Major Projects and Decommissioning portfolios to deliver their missions. This is the second procurement to be tendered by Sellafield Ltd using the principles of Category Management. A number of projects are to be delivered across the Sellafield site. Based on norms taken from previous projects, 75 packages have been identified, these have been categorised as follows: — Small — Personnel Access (PA)/ Egress Doors — Medium — Standard Door Types including: a) Vertical Mounted Horizontal Travel b) Rise & Fall c) Hinged Doors (excluding PA doors) d) Gamma Gates, Hatches, Trap Door — Large & Special Doors including: a) Large Store crane maintenance type b) Combined Vertically Mounted Horizontal Travel/Rise & Fall c) Combined Vertically Mounted Horizontal Travel/Hinged.
