Installation of Photovoltaic Panels on Domestic Properties.

Clackmannanshire Council wish to identify the interest of suppliers in providing the installation of Photovoltaic (PV) Panels on domestic properties. At present it has been estimated that there are 3 000 Council owned properties that could potentially benefit from the installation of PV. It is envisaged that this project would assist the Council in meeting key priorities related to carbon reduction and fuel poverty within the community. As the Council is interested in self-financing this project, suppliers are asked to submit potential funding scenarios (including projections for potential payback and profit), their proposals for the roll-out of such a programme and a note of any other incentives they would carry out under this programme to help us reduce carbon further and tackle fuel poverty. A funding and projection template has been attached to assist potential suppliers complete this exercise. N.B.: Full assessment and approval will be carried out by a full procurement. This document is a Prior Information Notice.
