I14 Electron Microscope Facility (EMF) External Building (DLSITT0340).

The I14 External Building forms a part of the phase III Diamond expansion. DLS would like to appoint a single contractor responsible for all construction, civil engineering, services and other aspects of this project as would be expected in a similar building project. The construction solution will require a high understanding of mechanical and electrical services co-ordination and installation (anticipate the project will be 40 % M&E) and potentially complex structural engineering solutions. All contractors will be expected to demonstrate sufficient knowledge to understand and build state of the art research facilities.
