North Ayrshire Council intend to award a contract for the supply of civils design and construction for the flood protection scheme in Kilbirnie, Glengarnock and Dalry, North Ayrshire, West Scotland. An important element of this contract will entail working closely with our project manager, external engineering consultants and project managers to ensure coordination of all the groundworks and construction works. The successful contractor will be appointed the principal contractor and be responsible for all CDM (2015) Regulations. The location of the works is split between 4 No works units as below: — Work Unit 1 (WU1X) – on-line storage — Work Unit 2 (WU2X) – kilbirnie minor works — Work Unit 3 (WU3X) – powgree/glengarnock — Work Unit 4 (WU4X) – dalry/DSM The indicative contract start date is 22 June 2020.
