The University of Sheffield will shortly commence a re-tendering exercise for the provision of a Titanium Skull Melting Furnace and shall advise the market via the publication of a Contract Notice in the Official Journal when the corresponding tender documentation is available. Prior to going out to tender the University requires to ensure that the building in which the furnace is to be installed is sufficient to house a typical item of this nature and to that end the University seeks advice from the market in advance of the competitive process for the equipment.
