The National Assembly for Wales is the democratically elected body that represents the interests of Wales and its people, makes laws for Wales and holds the Welsh Government to account. The successful contractor will provide broadcasting services to the National Assembly for Wales. This will include operating broadcasting equipment to provide live coverage of Plenary and Committee meetings in the Senedd, Cardiff Bay for use by the Assembly's partner broadcasters and other broadcasters; operating broadcasting equipment to provide coverage of Committee meetings held outside the Assembly as and when directed by the client; manage, operate and maintain the Assembly's web streaming service Senedd.tv that provides live and archive access of Assembly proceedings and promotional material; record to manage and maintain the in-house digital archive of Assembly proceedings; maintain broadcasting and associated audio-visual equipment, repairing, refreshing or replacing equipment owned by the Assembly; and provide expert strategic consultancy service on broadcasting and audio-visual matters. TUPE will apply to this contract.
