Bosnia and Herzegovina applied loan agreements with European Investment Bank (hereinafter EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (hereinafter EBRD) to finance priority sections of motorway on the route of Pan European Corridor Vc through Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will use these loans for payments of the works and consulting services to be procured under this project of construction of priority sections which includes section Vlakovo - Tarčin. Construction of section Vlakovo - Tarčin in total length of 20,25 km, has been divided into three contracts as follow: Contracts No. 1: Subsection Suhodol - Tarčin, length of 4,69 km, will be financed by the loan signed with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Contracts No.2: Subsection, Lepenica - Suhodol length of 5,46 km, will be financed by the loan signed with European Investment Bank (EIB) Contracts No.3: Subsection, Vlakovo - Lepenica, length of 10,10 km, will be financed by the loan signed with European Investment Bank (EIB) The subject of this Invitation for prequalification is Contract No.2 only. Public company Autoceste Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine d.o.o. Mostar (Autoceste FBiH) on behalf of the Government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter: Employer) intends to apply the proceeds of the loans from EIB [the Bank] towards the cost of Construction of motorway on Corridor Vc, section Vlakovo -Tarčin, subsection Lepenica - Suhodol (hereinafter the Project). The Employer intends to pre-qualify firms and joint ventures to tender for the contract to be funded from the proceeds of the loans. This contract consists of the construction of the subsection of motorway between Lepenica and Suhodol which will start after interchange Lepenica and finish after the exit of tunnel "Grabosječ". Subsection Lepenica - Suhodol is 5,46 km long (from km 18+650 to the km 24+110). Beginning of the subsection is after the interchange "Lepenica". Then route going through tunnel "Zakunjača" with the length of 312 m right tube and 369 m left tube. Next object on route are the bridges over the river Lepenica: "Lepenica 1" in the length of 245 and "Lepenica 2" in the length of 225 m right and 190 in left line. The route continues through tunnel "Grabosječ" with the length of 833 m right tube and 888 in left tube and section ends after the exit from this tunnel. Along the section will be built 4,2 km local roads with 1 overpass and 3 underpasses Construction period is 24 months. Prequalification and tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the loans from the Banks is open to firms and joint ventures from any country.
