Other additional information The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. The award of any subsequent contract arising from such requirements is subject to the EU Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations (DSCPR) 2011. On receipt of an expression of interest, the Authority will issue the supplier with a unique reference number, together with a copy of the specialist technical support taxonomy (ie the scope of the requirements to be covered by the framework) for information purposes only at this stage. The unique reference number is to be quoted on all subsequent correspondence. Companies will be asked to declare the specific areas of the taxonomy in which they are interested as part of the PQQ. Potential suppliers are requested to indicate in their Expression of Interest response if they would be interested in attending a FATS Supplier Information Briefing at MOD Foxhill, Bath BA2 5BZ. The supplier briefings will take place on 10, 12, 13 and 14 September, with briefings at (9:00) and (13:00) on each of these days. Places will be limited to one representative per supplier. The name of your representative, together with their nationality and their first, second and third choice of briefing session should be emailed to DESComrclCC-FATS4AB@mod.uk.
