Translink recognises that the CCTV market undergoes generational and technological step changes on a regular basis; e.g. analogue systems are now considered obsolete whilst there are forthcoming changes to Data Protection Legislation. To ensure Translink continues to meet its responsibilities in relation to CCTV governance whilst also meeting business needs there is currently a strategic review being carried out. The ultimate aim is to introduce a revised Translink Corporate CCTV Strategy which will guide the varied business areas when considering anything related to CCTV.
