A framework for Quantity Surveying services for a range of refurbishment, conservation construction, M and E, security, fire safety and ICT projects across the estate It is intended to appoint 4 firms to the framework who will be asked, via a mini competition process, to bid for projects as they arise. There will also be a requirement to provide staff to support the Parliamentary Estates Directorate to cover for permanent Project Leader/staff absences or to cover vacancies for the short to medium term. The framework will be set up to allow other public bodies to use the arrangements this will include those bodies identified in The Public Contracts Regulations 2006 Contracting Authorities Para 3. The requirements of the House of Commons and the House of Lords will take priority if there is any conflict of availability of personnel etc
